Hello friends!
It’s hard to believe it’s February already. Spring will be here before we know it, but for now, it’s still a wonderful time to lean into rest and restoration. When the spring equinox arrives in March, it’ll be time to plant your seeds of intention for summer and fall, but for now, it’s the perfect moment to burrow in a little longer, move a little slower, and energetically clear space for the rest of the year. This might mean purging your closet, your kids’ playrooms, your social calendar, or work/volunteer obligations—whatever you need to let go of both physically and energetically to make room in your life for what’s coming next.
Speaking of what’s coming next, here’s what’s up next for seed + sage:
2/23/24, 6PM-7:30PM Mindful Movement & Meditation at the Meadow Connect in Placerville—This is a co-ed offering, all are welcome!
3/22/24-3/24/24 Women’s Spring Equinox Retreat at Ananda in Nevada City—Two Spots Left!

Our theme for February is self-love and we’ll be hosting mindful movement + meditation at the Meadow Connect (soon to be HŌME Studio) in Placerville on Fri, 2/23 from 6-7:30 PM. We’ll begin with gentle movement to de-stress and center the body and follow with a meditation in celebration of self-love for the month of February. No sign-up, just show up—$15-$30 donation, but don’t let money stop you from coming. Bring a tea cup for social time afterwards. We had a lovely co-ed group in January, all are welcome!
Also, we have just two spots left for our Women’s Spring Equinox Retreat at Ananda in Nevada City on March 22-24. If you’ve been thinking about joining us, now is the time to save your spot(s) before it’s too late. We have an incredible group of women signed up and the vibe is restful with an emphasis on self-care without the obligations of daily life. Come join us and let us pamper you!
We’re also excited to share we just led a beautiful baby blessing for an expectant mom. The circle was held in the space where she plans to birth her baby. Family and friends gathered to share their blessings with her, including offering special beads for her birthing necklace to remind her of each of the women who are holding space for her. A friend serenaded us and we closed with a guided meditation to bless the birthing room and the new family. It was a beautiful opportunity to connect and help the new mama prepare for birth and motherhood. We’d love to help you hold a milestone blessing circle for yourself or a friend/family member—get in touch!
Wishing you a restful end to winter,
Olivia & Carlie
