October Updates: Come Get Witchy With Us!

Happy Autumn Friends,

As autumn begins and the days grow shorter, Waldorf tradition celebrates Michaelmas—a festival of courage. Children wear golden capes and craft wooden swords to face the dragon, a symbol of the inner challenges that arise as we move into the darker half of the year.

It is said that if the dragon is not faced now, its tail will return to test us in the spring. In this spirit, we too are invited to turn inward, to meet our own “dragons” with steadiness and strength. This season offers us the chance to embody courage, to root more deeply into presence, and to let our inner light guide us through the months ahead.

In that vein, we invite you to be brave and join us for our Women’s Circle at HOME Studio in Placerville this Friday, October 3 from 6:30-8:30PM. While our theme this month will be revealed when you arrive—we invite you to lean into the spirit of the season by wearing your witch hat (of fit!) if you have one. We’ll move with intention, meditate, craft together, and build deeper community connections. Join us!

And, a big thank you to everyone who came out for our Dispenza walking meditations in August and September—with the sun setting earlier each day, it’s hard to make it happen in the evenings going forward. However, if anyone is interested in a Sunday morning walking meditation, please get in touch. If we have enough interest, we’ll make it happen!

Have a wonderful October,

Olivia & Carlie
